This record bridges the gap between "The Wanderer(s)" and "Citizen Cain." It is comprised of experimental hard rock tracks and audio noises that represent the fear of the unknown. The record was originally started as the follow up album to "The Wanderer(s)" and several demos were cut within a month in the summer of 2011. The record was meant to be refined and remixed for release on December 21st 2012, but many tracks were scrapped in their entirety or reworked with other names and styles for the forthcoming record "Citizen Cain." "X" was advertised off and on by Smells Like Green... and was finally released on Valentines Day on bandcamp as an 11 track b-side demo record as a reflection of the results of being forced to confront hardship and the fear of the unknown. The sonic sounds and titles are meant to connect the concepts of previous records with forthcoming projects. The released final version of this record contains tracks that were recorded between the spring of 2011 and the winter of 2012.
