This was one of the first tracks recorded for this album, it appears as the second part of the zero trilogy in which a person fleeing from nuclear holocaust looks back in a rearview mirror to see the world they once new being obliterated. Once again there are two voices and both echo the thought patterns of the character in that situation who serves as a metaphor for myself looking back on what I've lost and looking forward to what I have next. The lyric "This is no exit sign," appears again in track 11 "Fantastic Aftermath," I use it in repetition to assure myself that while I may never exorcise my demons completely I won't give up creating music or living my life to the fullest.
