This track was a bit harder to write, but it reflects my fear that I could lose control of myself and succumb to alcoholism. What scares me about the possibility is that it's seldom a rapid descent into addiction but rather a slow process of leaning more and more on substance as a crutch to fulfill or numb oneself to whatever is going on. I know I haven't lost control, but the possibility of the easy slide into hell scares me. I know I have control over myself, which is why I'm aware of how easy it is to go to far. The production of the song was an interesting process, this is one of three tracks in which the percussion was accomplished predominantly by beatboxing, I also used the sounds of screeching tires in the background as a sort of sonic motif. Track 1 "Detox" begins with a crash sound building into the swing dance bit I figured I'd continue the motif of car crashes with the tire screech sound.
